Collection: Penan Women Project (PWP)
The Penan Women Project (PWP) is a social enterprise set up to empower Women in Penan, which is one of the last aboriginal tribes in East Malaysia who live and depend completely on the forest. They live in poor conditions with little or no access to electricity, medical care and supplies and schooling.
The objective is to help the women be self-sustaining through the sale of their handmade woven products and to address their every day needs and to care for their children.
